New C28 Canvas Design: “HOPE”

I based this design off of my absolute favorite verse. I think it’s pretty incredible that God has a plan for each and every one of our lives! It can be super difficult to believe we have hope when we are going through a lot of pain or uncertainty, I know this because I’ve experienced that feeling. But God promised me hope and a future, so I know in my heart that I will have hope and a future. God made that promise for all of us! We all should put more trust in God knowing he’s got something amazing in store for our lives. The road ahead may look uncertain, and along the way there will be trials, but we have hope in Jesus. :)

New C28 Canvas Design: “OUR GOD SAVES”

I just submitted a brand new design! I borrowed a pen tablet (from my mom haha) to make this one, and I’m pretty proud of how it turned out! Please vote and comment on my design, I’d love to hear what you guys think. Here is the description I submitted for the design:

“Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death.” – Psalm 68:20 (NIV). I wanted to create a unique design based on this verse, and I love doodling, so I decided to combine those ideas! This girls tee was the end result of that. The shirt is also inspired by a worship song by Paul Baloche called “Our God Saves”. :]

I’ve been working on some more new stuff, and I’ll keep them coming! Thanks for checking out my blog and stuff! :)

New C28 Canvas Design: “ALL WE NEED”

I submit my t-shirt designs to a Christian shirt voting site called Canvas, and this is my latest design! Please check it out, tell me what you think, and vote! :) You have to sign up for the community to vote for shirts on the site, but don’t worry, you won’t get spammed and stuff if you give them your e-mail and everything. It’s a pretty cool site!

Here is the shirt description: “God’s love is all we need!! I wanted to portray this truth in a bold yet simple design. We may think we need a lot of things… but where would be be without the love of God? He loves us so much, he willingly sent his only son to die on a cross for our sins! Because of this we are forgiven! And if it weren’t for God’s love, we wouldn’t have the other things we need. So I think it’s important for people to know how much they need His love.”

The Family Force 5 “Christmas Pageant” Tour!!

This past Thursday, December 9th, I went to the Christmas Pageant tour at the House of Blues in Anaheim with my dad! Family Force 5 is my absolute favorite band, and this was my fifth time seeing them live. Since my dad and I had VIP packs we got to meet FF5 and also Forever the Sickest Kids before the show. The actual concert was A LOT of fun! The opening bands were Shoreline’s End and Secondhand Serenade. Secondhand Serenade did a cool acoustic set. Up next was Forever the Sickest Kids, they pretty much ROCKED. FTSK is definitely one of my new favorite bands, they put on a really great show! Then, of course, Family Force 5 stepped onstage and blew the crowd away as usual. Their live show is nothing short of amazing! Their energy is nonstop, and they seem to make it impossible for you to stand still while they play their outrageously upbeat tunes. Every time I see them live I like them more!! Towards the end of the show, as a VIP I got to go up onstage during “Love Addict” with the rest of the VIP crew and dance behind the band, it was EPIC! I highly recommend seeing Family Force 5 live, maybe I’m a little biased (haha!) but trust me, you’ll have a great time. And Forever the Sickest Kids puts on an awesome show too. To sum up the whole experience in one word, I’d have to say “AWESOME”. Here is the pic of me and Dad with FF5:

Starting a blog. :)

Hello world! So this is my very first attempt at blogging! I don’t exactly know what to write about at this very moment, but I guess it’s because I’m just starting out. I wanted to start a blog because I wanted to share my thoughts about what I’m passionate about, most importantly God and music. I want to be a professional singer-songwriter someday, so maybe I’ll write some posts about that. I will probably post a lot about my t-shirt designs for www.canvasthreads.com too. Also, I will probably just write my random thoughts about life. Well, thanks for stopping by my site, I know it isn’t much right now, but I will be sure to update often! – Emilie
